Yahoo and WordPress started a joint venture helping bloggers find resources related to the post they are writing. As said on the Yahoo Shortcuts page "Enhance your blog posts with Yahoo! Shortcuts".
Here is how it works:
Automatic Detection
As you write your blog ost, Shortcuts look for Flickr photos, places, companies, products, people and much more. f Yahoo! shortcuts finds relevant content, it will let you know. Just click the "Review this post" button to see what they have found for you.
Review Detected Shortcuts
Each of the terms for which Yahoo Shortcuts found content will be underlined. Now you can determine what you want to keep and how you want the Shortcut to be displayed.
Do nothing if you want to keep the shortcut as is on the page. If you want to remove a Shortcut, you can either remove it individually or remove all of them at once.
Link or Badge
Shortcuts can appear in your post in different forms. You can have it appear as a link with a preview on hover, or embed it directly into the post as you would with an image.
Beautify your content with Flickr images:
Shortcuts also searches the top terms in your post and provides a quick and easy way to add images from Flickr. You can resize and position the images anywhere on your post, and photos are automatically attributed to their respective authors per the Creative Commons license.
Free T-Shirt:
You get a free T-Short for using the Plug-in in your WordPress blog.
