I am not a “How to make money” guru. But I will tell you some ways I have been using to earn a few bucks from your blog.

Affiliate Program

Affiliate programs generally pay 5-10% or so for any sales made by any visitor to your site. A good place to put the affiliate links are BlogRoll. When you choose affiliate programs best idea is to pick something related to your site content.

Google/Yahoo/MSN Ad Networks

Search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN offers ad networks like AdSense etc which you can use to show ads on your site. You can make few bucks out of it. For me it did not work well considering my expectations. But these are recommended if you have a brand new blog and want to start earning right away. You have limited options when you have a new blog.

Sell Links/Banners Yourself

You can make a place on your blog to show paid links. To sell links this way what I do is I post a for sale ad on different webmaster forums (if you need there is a list of forums on this blog). If you can sell at least 3 links each month, you will earn more then AdSense. You can also sell blogroll as well.

Write Reviews

This can make you good money. Generally what I do is create a blogger account with the sites that will give me those jobs. Some sites like that are BlogsVertise.com, ReviewMe.com, Sponsoredreviews.com. After becoming member I submit my blog(s) to those sites for approval. But problem is some of them require minimum PR, some requires you at least 3 months of blog posts. Once your blog get approved, you can start reviewing.

Not all the sites specified above work same way. Sponsoredreviews.com is a bidding system. You bid with your price, and its upto the advertiser to accept or deny it. For the rest of the sites advertisers will find you or the sites will assign review job for you.

You can post ads on forums as well for writing reviews. I tried that, worked for me.

Once you become a authoritive blogger your prices can follow. Don’t rush. Enjoy blogging not earning money then money will follow.
